Join us for a three day training in the use of clinical hypnosis. You will learn and practice the components of formal hypnosis in a personalized, intimate setting. Our training includes practical clinical skills that you can begin using with clients immediately, as well as discussion of ethical use of hypnotic technique.

16 Hours of CEU have been submitted for the Minnesota Boards of Marriage and Family Therapy (including 1.0 ethics CEU), Social Work, and Behavioral Health and Therapy.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
1. Foundations of Clinical Hypnosis
Define clinical hypnosis and describe its role, applications, and limitations within therapeutic practice.
Explain ethical considerations and professional guidelines governing the use of hypnosis with clients.
2. Formal Trance Induction
Demonstrate at least two formal trance induction methods, including steps for establishing rapport, focus, and relaxation.
Select an appropriate induction technique based on client needs, context, and therapeutic goals.
3. Deepening Techniques
Apply multiple deepening strategies to guide clients into a deeper hypnotic state.
Assess client responsiveness and adjust deepening methods accordingly.
4. Realerting and Safe Reorientation
Perform effective realerting procedures to bring clients out of hypnotic states safely and comfortably.
5. Structure of Hypnotic Suggestions
Construct clear, positive, and ethically sound hypnotic suggestions using principles of therapeutic language and cognitive reframing.
Differentiate between direct and indirect suggestions and identify when each is most appropriate.
6. Hypnotic Language Skills
Utilize hypnotic language patterns such as pacing and leading, embedded commands, and sensory-language matching.
Incorporate informal hypnotic phrasing to promote client receptivity and therapeutic change.
7. Ethical Use of Hypnosis
Identify boundaries, contraindications, and client safety protocols within clinical hypnosis practice.
Apply informed consent procedures and document hypnosis sessions appropriately.
8. Practical Application and Skill Integration
Conduct a complete hypnosis session from induction to reorientation using the learned techniques.
Receive and apply feedback from instructors and peers to refine technique and confidence.
Demonstrate readiness to use hypnosis immediately and responsibly with clients in clinical settings.
